Braveheart Films is the production company of Australian writer, director and producer, James Wallace.

Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.”

- Nelson Mandela

James Wallace is an Australian author, screenwriter, and film producer with a unique background in high-stakes currency trading. His experiences in New York's financial world have directly inspired his novel "TRADERS: The Whale's Wager," the first in a trilogy.

A former global macro currency trader, Wallace has successfully pivoted to the world of storytelling. His novel "The Soho Oracle" is currently in development as a feature film, with the screenplay having garnered multiple awards. Wallace is also producing "Hostage," a bank heist thriller with a twist, and overseeing the film adaptation of "TRADERS."

Based in Sydney, Wallace divides his time between Australia, Bali, Thailand, and Los Angeles, drawing inspiration from his international experiences. His work often explores the intricate dance of power, ambition, greed, and the darker sides of human nature - themes he encountered in the volatile world of international finance but also at Macquarie University where he was blessed to have studied The Politics of Genocide under the brilliant Dr Colin Tatz.
